Skill in action. Simplicity.

“Yoga is skill in action.” – it means to unite our breath, our intelligence – us being here to work in accordance, harmony and alignment with the greater whole – for the benefit of all beings.

Stop. What? Simplicity.

It means if someone needs help, we help. It means, if we are really thirsty in the a desert, we drink and we drink what is available here right now in front of us.

It means if our body needs to rest, we take a rest. Simple as that.

It means that we don’t waste time for what is not serving us, nor anyone else. It means that we put the hands on our yoga mat and keep on practicing and breathing no matter what is happening and don’t run away 100 times for distracting ourselves.

It means self care. It means using a plaster immediately, when we have a wound and bleed.

Simple as that? It means that my blind grandfather payed the fine for his carer, when she was accused to steal a chocolate bar that was not even available in this shop at that right moment. Because he needed his carer in that very right moment on his side at home of course. That was a simple solution for both of them.

It means that we know when to take action and when to step back from re-actions and just allow life to unfold.

It means that we reach out our hands and help someone before drowning and don’t overthink in that very right moment.

It means that we say a yes, when we know that a yes is true, and a no, when a no is true.

Simplicity in skill in action means so much at once that we can save people, our own life, and transform our own life or others’ instantaneously.

It means that we can make someone’s day brighter with just a simple smile we can share with another person…….

It means that we don’t tighten our bodies and minds and make life more complicated than it is. The force of life – that huge force that created you and has been guiding you ever since –  to be here right now and breathe in this very right moment – KNOWS all simple solutions.

All the simple  billions of skills in actions (that we don’t even recognize and have to control) that our bodies work through in each moment so that we keep on breathing for our cells keep on working, so we live this life.

Simplicity in skill in action means that we allow this clear intelligence of life that is streaming thorough our bodies to keep on flowing. It means that we connect that intelligent force (PRANA), allow it to connect – to heal ourselves, our planet,  – for the benefit of all. Simple as that. Align with that simple tremendous love guiding you – simply where you need to be… right now.

Pop Up Yoga – Preparing the New Year

POP UP YOGA Preparing the New Year 2017

SA 3.12. 18-19:30

We need to let go the old, before we can invite and see the NEW.
Together we will align and focus on what we want to invite and integrate in our lives in 2017.
Yoga means to connect, not only mind, body, soul; but also all that we can live and give offer to the world
to a bigger picture and so we BECOME together.

SANKALPA – means a thought, a powerful intention that we put into our unconscious, so we create the
thoughts and further actions to bring the NEW into our lives.

Together as a community, we find more power and motivation to stay on the track.
It would be lovely, if some people meet who can support each other with their visions as well in 2017.
That is what I hope for; that we bring into our lives what our heart longs for…and our hearts’ dreams and visions become reality for the benefit of all beings….

Bring your mat, something to write, a blanket, maybe a symbolic piece that helps you to stay on your track in 2017.

„Heartbeat A Yoga Symphony Mixtape“ Workshop Part 1

a yin/restorative class

The yoga practice supports us to connect in a much more refined way to ourselves and others, to feel into situations, to trust our bodies‘ signals and really connect to our intuition…The various layers (koshas) are refering to the emotional/mental/pranic/physical layers that are all interwoven in us.Learning to discern which layer speaks to us and what helps us to stay much more open-minded and spacious to follow our intuition…This yin/restorative class is all about learning to listen in an even more refined way to our intuition and body signals.& Then when you know the signals – also trust the signals!

„Heartbeat A Yoga Symphony Mixtape“ Workshop Part 2

a flow class

„Satya“ , a term from yoga philosophy means truth telling and also refers directly to the term „Ahimsa“ meaning non-violent behavior on all levels. Being honest to our feelings, to our intuition and to all what we show up for or not – is a constant process of inquiry. Ignoring our truth manifests in mental/emotional and of course physical tension sooner or later in our lives.

Are we honest to ourselves, to our feelings, to our emotions, and of course to all people in our lives? What felt right yesterday for us must not be the truth on the next day.It just doesn’t feel good to live our life fully truthful. So keep asking: What is your truth in all circumstances?&Listen to the intuitive whispers that guide you. Living a life in total integrity on all levels needs a constant process of inquiry.

S.E.E [Sound, Education, Experience]. – Women IN/ON Sound

I am grateful to announce that my Diploma Text-Sound Project “Disentangling On Concrete” (2010) is part of the Women IN/ON Sound conference at Goldsmith University of London.  The event theme and title is S.E.E [Sound, Education, Experience].

Disentangle On Concrete, 2010 loop „Disentangle On Concrete“ is a text-sound sculpture adaptable to various locations researching the effect and power of words. How do words manipulate us, effect us and create social agreements? Which associations, feelings, sensations arise in our bodies, minds and in a wider sense social bodies and collective (un)consciousness? What happens with the repetition of words in our neurology, bodies and social networks? Can words free or paralyze us? How can one spoken word manipulate us? Do we feel the after-effects of one single word? Are we entangled in words, so we need to disentangle again? Which words are we allowing to effect us? Does one word effect us immediately or does it need repetitions so traces stay in our (collective) (un)consciousness. The words chosen for „Disentangle On Concrete“ are taken from the yoga philosophy world to research the tension that arises within a performative set up of a yoga class with the intention to create freedom or peace with words. Is sound, a word creating just another layer of illusion or creating a shift in our minds so we can perceive the world from a new perspective? Thank you Oliver Cortez/Olinclusive for recording support
